Hospitality Collaborative
Hospitality Collaborative (HC) runs catering services and a family of venues located around the Los Angeles and Orange County area. While freelancing for HC, I primarily worked on two client-facing decks for The Fig House and The Harper event venues. The structure of The Fig House Deck was created in Figma by a previous designer, so this was the perfect opportunity for me to learn more about designing and working in Figma.
I hope to apply this knowledge to a UI/UX position in the future. In addition, I collaborated with their social team to create and transpose 8 Social Templates into Canva to give their non-designer social team greater flexibility and ownership over their text posts in the future.
The Fig House Deck
At HC, I collaborated with the marketing team to design, update, and deliver a one-stop venue guide for prospective clients. I updated colors, images, page layouts, and overall deck flow, while also keeping menu items / pricing up-to-date.
The Harper Deck
Having gained a more solid understanding of Figma since working on The Fig House Deck, I was ready to apply the same structure to The Harper Deck. I also created a customized map of the venue on page 4 based on architectural plans given to me by the team.
